easter morning
it was so sweet how the two big kids showed caden his easter basket first before they even looked into theirs. now that's true love!
caden at grapevine springs park
i kept moving those little legs over and he kept moving them. he is going to have to learn to pose like mommy wants!! fortunately for him, his precious even if he won't post right!
caden on the beach
1 year old. caden loved the beach. he ate the sand once. he loved to walk around and try to knock over whatever we were building. he liked his toes in the water. he didn't mind sand in his face. he is so easy going that he just hung out. it was a little cool and windy but he didn't care. nothing much phases him. he's our "mr. happy".
train
i was too big to ride on the train with caden, but no worries, brother and sister took him on his first train ride. he'll probably grow up thinking he has 2 sets of parents. (he may still feel that way when he is an adult!)
sunset
look at the fisherman in the lower right corner... i didn't even notice him when i took the picture off our balcony.
ellie and zoey on the beach
kristen got to bring ellie and zoey on vacation with us. they are the animals from her class that go home with a different classmate each week. we were supposed to take pictures where ever they went and put together a scrapbook at the end of the week. they went to the movies, rode in a race car, went in the ferris wheel, ate ice cream, went to the alligator farm, got buried in the sand on the beach & had a great time.
a cross
we made a cross on the beach and decorated it with shells. we put one of the starfish we found for the center. it was special being at the beach on Easter. kristen read the Easter story and we talked about what Jesus did for us and we overwhelmed with thankfulness (again). His love is amazing.
water baby
caden absolutely loved the pool. there was a place where the water spilled over from the hot tub and he would put his whole head in it. if he drifted away from it, he would kick his legs like a frog to try to get back over there.
here you go...
brothers on the beach. it makes me smile to think about all cole will share with caden over the years. because of their age difference, cole will have alot of knowledge and experience to share. i'm sure caden will always look up to him and consider him wise counsel. i pray they will always share all they discover about God and always point each other to Him.
