butter

caden steals the butter from the frig on a daily basis. i have to chase him down for it. he runs away yelling, "MINE, MINE, NO! MINE". today he tried to jam the metal side of the earphones into the light socket, climbed up onto the ledge by the stairs and couldn't get down, fell out of the bathtub facefirst and busted his lip and opened the neighbors door and started to run inside. he is taking years off my life!

book

caden will be 2 in a couple weeks. he loves to read his books. he goes and gets a book and climbs in the chair to read. he likes this book because it has a tiger (mamma "raaaaar, raaaar" - he has such a great roar). he also likes the balls in this book.
i love how he holds his book with his feet. and i love his little belly. today was a big day. he pooped in the potty totally on his own. he ran to the potty and did it. he has figured out that when he goes on the potty, we all clap and cheer for him and he gets m&ms.

it's official!

this is an email i sent out to friends:

Elizabeth Fowler Photography is now official! As you all know, I have been passionate about photography for many years & I have finally decided to pursue that passion 100%. I am taking 2 classes to further my knowledge and i have a professional photographer that is mentoring me once a week. I am so excited!

In the past I have taken pictures and given away the disk. However, once my website is up and running next month, I will charge a $125 sitting fee and the proofs will be on the website for an additional charge.

Until then, for the month of January only, I am going to book appointments for an outdoor family or kids session for $125 and I will give you the disk. You do not have to take the pics in January, just commit to your session and I will contact you to schedule the time.

The benefit of the disk is you will have all the images to scrapbook with, update your facebook and blog, make valentive cards and get whatever volume of prints you want.

what u find in your retainer case when u have a one year old

she has the most incredible smile and cutest dimples but i also like this serious look, too... those eyes ... and she still has that baby look to her face, i love that :) don't grow up too quick.

i love the pic of ashton on the bench... she said, "take my picture like this" and i thought it was one of the cutest ones! always happens that the best pics are not the ones i tried to plan :)

these sisters were just precious! what a joy to be around. they had all decided that they wanted to have their picture taken and couldn't wait to sit in the chair or pose. what more could i ask for!
