i didn't think anyone could take to the water better than kristen. but caden has kristen's love for the water and the fearlessness of a boy all in one. he can do a flip underwater. he loves to say, "hey EVERYONE, watch this!!" and of course we all clap for him, which he loves! don't know many 3 year olds who dive, do flips and can get a ring off the bottom of the pool.
he is my water baby :)

summer!

 

tonight was "caden night" so we swam in the backyard. each night in july, we have a night where we do what that family member wants to do. for caden it was a toss up between swimming and watching the toy story movie.
he is fearless. he likes to dive headfirst into the water spray. daryl throws him so high in the air that he touches the bottom of the pool when he goes in. doesn't matter if he lands on his stomach, back or face, he comes up with the biggest smile on his face.
i love summer! warm weather, popcicles and swimming...doesn't get any better than that!

coppell 4th of july parade

 

we walked with our church's car and passed out golden ticket invites to service. we start the "at the movies" series so we had "men in black" playing and people dressed as movie characters. we passed out 1500 invites :)

beautiful child inside and out. i love your smile with your two crooked front teeth, your laugh and your creativity. i love how you make up songs and still love to play with stuffed animals. i love that you bring out the best in my daughter and i pray you will be forever friends like your mom and i will be.
