as much as i hate to admit it, the boys triumphed at trivia and won the ship on a stick

food!

one of the best things about going on a cruise is the food is cooked and ready for you every meal! only mommys can fully appreciate that! we all got so spoiled. diets were out the window for sure :)

underwater Christ statue

we hung out in cozumel at chaakanah park on the beach and saw some of the mayan ruins (see the pelts, u can't take them anywhere!) we snorkeled and saw an underwater Christ statue. it was so cool! our guide maurice explained (as i was treading water and getting slapped in the face with ocean water) that it is not a statue of Jesus on the cross but of the risen Christ. then he told us how to become a Christian by accepting what Jesus did on the cross and believing in His resurrection. Go maurice! wonder how many snorkelers he has caused to ponder Christ. love it.

we put cole's train table that has been in the attic for years together for caden today.

there's nothing like having a big kid to do stuff :0) but it seems like yesterday he was a little guy like cade playing with the train table...

this is what happened with our little helper who was holding the screws was forced to give them up to finish putting the table together... this table is for you little man, we promise, it will be more fun to play with the trains on the table than to just hold on to the screws! (actually, i'm not so sure, he was REALLY pleased to be holding the big screws).
