photoshop

people often ask me what kind of camera i have. i have a canon 20D and a 50D.
although your camera is important, your editing software is just as important. when i first got photoshop, my instructor told me it would take a couple years to master it. this is true! photoshop is a never-ending learning experience for me. this image shows the importance and difference in results after editing.
so while camera choice is important, you don't just get great shots straight out of the camera... ok, well, that IS the goal! i am working on that as well BUT the point is your camera and editing go hand in hand.

unlike justin, i did not have to work on the no smile with cole. he came out of the womb with the "are you messing with me?" look on his face. love cole's new country boy look (thanks to a couple of coaches at school). it is coupled with a love for country music as well. stay strong, pure and cool buddy. i love u.

justin

we had the hardest time explaining the "no smile" to justin. he is so precious and just wants to give a huge smile every time i point the camera at him.
at some point i had to ask myself...  i was trying to get him to do the "to cool for school" teen look, WHY?

he is still the 7 year old little boy that wants to wrestle with his friend and throw rocks at trains that pass by (trapped in a huge body that is bigger than mine now). love u like my own precious.  God has amazing plans for you!
