election tomorrow

Dear Heavenly Father,
You are ruler of nations (Revelation 1:5 and Rev 3:14). You are the Lord God Almighty (Genesis 17:1). You are holy (Isaiah 6:3). You have revealed Yourself and Your expectations in the Bible. You make Yourself known to us (Gal 1:16). You love us so much that You sacrificed Jesus for us.

And in return, we have despised You. We despise You as a nation. We reject You; we seek to eliminate You from each realm of our society. You have blessed us and made us a Christian nation and we have turned our back on You & taken credit for the mighty things You have done. You have blessed us with the privilege of freedom to worship You & we have used that freedom as a license to sin.

Instead of a godly nation and a light on a hill; we are an instrument in the hand of satan - desiring to take giant leaps toward self-destruction. The possibility of our country turning its back on Israel is a frighteningly real possibility.

When David went into the Philistine camp to take them on with only his armor bearer at his side, he said, "Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few." 1 Samuel 14:6b.
God we are not asking You to save us from an enemy. We are asking You that we not become the enemy. SAVE US FROM OURSELVES.
"Then panic struck the whole army... the ground shook. It was a panic sent by God." v. 15.
SEND A PANIC, LORD.
v. 23 "so the Lord rescued Israel that day."
LORD, rescue us today.
nothing can hinder You.
